We are excited to welcome our newest Executive Board member, Justin Baker-Rojas, as the Communications Director of the International Visual Literacy Association (IVLA), who will serve the rest of our outgoing Communication Director’s (Sarah Huber’s) term. We thank Sarah for her efforts on our behalf and wish her a wonderful sabbatical!
Justin Baker-Rojas Communications Director
Justin’s extensive background in marketing and communications makes him an invaluable asset to the position. As a Certified Social Media Professional, his prior experience spans across multiple industries such as Education (Teaching K-12 music, theater, film, radio & TV), Film/Television Production, Public Figure publicity strategy, political initiatives, non-profit organizations, personal brands, and immersive media experiences.
As Communications Director, Justin will oversee communication efforts for the IVLA, including social media, email marketing, and website content. He will work closely with the rest of the executive board to ensure that the IVLA’s message is effectively communicated to members and the broader community.
We are thrilled to have Justin on board and look forward to working together to further the mission of the IVLA to promote visual literacy education and research. Please join us in welcoming him to the team!
