The IVLA is governed by seven officers and a board of directors, all members in good standing. This group carries out the affairs of the Association in compliance with the IVLA bylaws. Board members serve three-year terms, and officers serve two-year terms. The board meets at least four times each year, with one meeting held at the annual conference. Elections for vacant positions are held at the annual conference.
