IVLA 2025: Virtual Art Exhibit
Call for Entry

The International Visual Literacy Association (IVLA) warmly invites you to submit your work for a special virtual exhibition, “Art and Memory,” presented in conjunction with the 2025 IVLA conference, “The Power of Images in Sacred and Festive Spaces.” This exhibition offers a space to explore how images, visuals, and symbols can capture, preserve, and transform personal and collective memory.

We welcome visual work that delves into the powerful connections between art and memory-whether through personal storytelling, reflections on history, or expressions of cultural identity. This is an opportunity to showcase how images can carry meaning across time, evoke deep emotions, and connect us to places, events and one another.

We encourage submissions across a wide range of mediums, including two- and three-dimensional artworks, professional and research visualizations, and experimental visual explorations. Whether you are an artist, researcher, or visual storyteller, your contribution can help shape a collective reflection on the enduring resonance and power of memory through image-making.

Let your work become part of a vibrant, international conversation on memory, meaning, and the visual arts!
