IVLA Leadership Scholarship

Headshot of Jackie Huddle.AGUASCALIENTES, MEXICO: On November 1, 2025, The International Visual Literacy Association named Jackie Huddle, Art + Design Librarian at the Herron Art Library of Indiana University-Indianapolis, USA, the recipient of the IVLA Leadership Scholarship. This award enables members of the leadership team with financial support to have an opportunity to attend the conference. 

Jackie Huddle is the Art + Design Librarian at the Herron Art Library of Indiana University-Indianapolis. Previously she worked as the Visual Literacy and Resources Librarian for five years at Indiana University-Bloomington. Her current service positions include Secretary of IVLA, and Co-chair of the Art Librarians Society of North America’s Big Ten Academic Alliance (ARLIS/NA BTAA) Group. Huddle’s research interests include critical visual literacy and arts-based practices within the medical humanities.

The International Visual Literacy Association (IVLA) proudly announces the recipients of its 2025 Annual Awards, recognizing outstanding scholarship, creativity, and service in the advancement of visual literacy. These distinguished honorees were celebrated during the 57th Annual IVLA Conference, “The Power of Images in Sacred and Festive Practices,” hosted by the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, Mexico.
